CHAAR MINAAR

   Chaar Minaar is a one of the Historical place in India.         Chaar Minaar means Four Poles. It has only four poles. Thats why it is named as CHAAR MINAAR.    Char Minar was Constructed in 1591, the landmark is a symbol of Hyderabad and officially incorporated in the emblem of Telangana.                   The Charminar is situated on the east bank of Musi River. To the west lies the Laad Bazaar, and to the southwest lies the richly ornamented granite Makkah Masjid.                It is listed as an archaeological and architectural treasure on the official list of monuments prepared by the Archaeological Survey of India.         As per a popular belief, "Charminar was built to acknowledge the elimination of the plague which had affected the entire city immensely during that era".  It is believed that the Sultan had prayed for the end of this plague with which his people were suffering
